High blood pressure is also known as HBP or hypertension puts a strain on your blood vessels and your heart. When HBP goes untreated over a long period of time it is dangerous to your health because it can stretch the walls of your arteries beyond its healthy limit causing serious damage to internal organs and possible death from a heart attack, stroke, heart or kidney failure.

Ideal levels is a systolic pressure (top number) should be 120 or less and a diastolic reading (bottom number) should be 80 or less. That’s why it’s so important to have your blood pressure checked regularly and to know your numbers!
